Honey's Gift

I actually finished it just in time. As I was putting the backing on the frame, I heard the sound of Honey's diesel coming down the court.

 Canvases for a Valentine's Day shadow box for Honey.

These are little canvases from Joann. They are covered with

pages from an old book. Now to get them finished and

attached to the shadowbox by tomorrow. How does it

always come to this? I'm down to the last minute again.

I made tags to tie on my Valentine's day gifts. I also made similar tags to tie to my repurposed window. The wings are made with Tim Holtz Layered Wings die cut using cardboard. When I found this old window, it was in pretty bad shape. Honey helped me remove what glass was left. I painted it with Annie Sloan Chalk paint and we attached the chicken wire to the back. He also attached the hardware and now my little window looks like a door.
